I'm re-posting this as the last time I posted someone messaged me she was able to save $185 in one day on her prescription meds! So definitely check this site out!
Here is a great web site started by someone who was getting buried in medical and drug expenses. They have listed hundreds of coupons and rebates for prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs, and medicines for pets.
You will also find some helpful resources like:
- How to use Drug Coupons,
- Why do drug companies use coupons?
- Can you use drug coupons if you have insurance?
- and more!

If you live near Marian's Fresh Market you'll want to know there is a Prescription coupon in the current ad for a $25 Gift Card with a new or transferred prescription. It expires 9/1....and don't forget CVS will often take competitors prescription coupons!
Frugal Tip: Now that school has started our kid's will be coming home with all kinds of things; pink eye, the flu, colds and god knows what else. When you see these types of coupons snatch them up, you never know when you'll end up in the doctors office getting a new prescription....you might as well earn a gift card for it!

Went to the Doc this morning....and left with 2 new prescription slips. A few weeks ago CVS had a $25 Gift Card when you bring in a new prescription. Yep! Used both of them today (well I'm using one tomorrow as it's one per visit).
Anyhoo....that's why it's imortant to get several copies of those coupons when you see them and hold on to them, especially when you have kiddos.
CVS will take competitors prescription coupons as well.
Here are the stores you will typically see these coupons for:
- CVS (in their ad or sometime the "magic coupon machine" will print one out
- K-Mart
- Meijer
- Target (usually only $10 but hey it's something)
- Walgreens (once in a blue moon)
People I've made $800 in Gift Cards in the past 6 months using new and transferred prescription coupons!
I'll be writing up a more extensive article on this and how to maximize your savings with Prescription Coupons so stay tuned!
