Illinois Residents - Last Chance for Energy Rebate 9/24

On Friday, Sept. 24, the state of Illinois will offer a final opportunity for residents to save 15 percent when replacing their old appliances with Energy Star models. Participating retailers will give 15-percent instant rebates up to $250 on purchases of clothes washers, dishwashers, freezers or refrigerators that have received the Energy Star rating for energy efficiency.

The program will begin at 8 a.m. at participating retailers and will end at 9 p.m. or when funds expire. Online sales are not eligible.

I strongly suggest that if you choose to participate you do so as early Friday as possible before funding runs out!
