Distinguished conductor Riccardo Muti is the tenth music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He launches his inaugural season with a free performance in Millennium Park, featuring Verdi’s Overture to La forza del destino, Liszt’s Les préludes and Respighi’s Pines of Rome.
