Keeping with tradition, festival-goers can expect to experience homemade bratwurst, the "oom-pah" of German bands, the music of top area headliner bands, activities for kids ("Kinderfest"), and of course lots of great beer!
Our festival is held outdoors in a beer garden fashion under a 'big-top' tent. Thousands from Chicago of all ages attend and raise their stein to toast this German pastime.

FREE Hyde Park Jazz Festival September 25th 1pm - 2am:
The 4th annual Hyde Park Jazz Festival includes 13 hours of FREE, nonstop jazz by over 150 musicians performing 36 shows on Chicago’s Culture Coast. The Festival opens at 1pm the James W. Wagner Main Stage and finishes with the Midnight Jam session, both on 59th Street. Produced by HyPa (Hyde Park Alliance for Arts and Culture) and the Hyde Park Jazz Society.
