FREE Yoga at Millenium Park Lawn Saturdays Through 9/11


Millennium Park and McDonald’s invite Chicagoans and visitors to kick off their weekends with energizing workouts on the Great Lawn of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. Workouts are open to people with all levels of experience, are 45 minutes long and will be held from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Saturday from June 5 through September 11, 2010.

Each week, instructors will lead classes in Tai Chi at 7 a.m., Yoga sessions at 8 a.m., Pilates workouts at 9 a.m. and Dance Aerobics at 10 a.m. New this year will be live music during the yoga and Pilates classes, played over Millennium Park’s state-of-the-art sound system.

7 AM: Stirling Tai Chi Society
8 AM: Lani Granum
9 AM: Pilates Chicago
10 AM: Zumba with Diane and Regina (Body energizing fun to a Latin beat)
Music by Michael Zerang and Friends from 8-10 AM

Saturdays, August 28, September 4, 11

7 AM: Stirling Tai Chi Society
8 AM: Lani Granum
9 AM: Soulistic Studio
10 AM: Cheerobics! with the Power of Cheer (Prance, kick and thrust your way to a better body)
Music by Carlo Basile with Satya from 8-10 AM
