Illinois Sales Tax Holiday

Most states have a period of time where you can get a break from sales tax. Illinois is offering 10 days when school supplies and clothing will be taxed at a lower rate. This year it will take place August 6th - August 10th, you will get a 5% discount on sales tax for all qualifying items including clothing, shoes, and school supplies. This can really add up to some great savings!
