Apple Free Case Program Now Open For iPhone 4 Owners

If you remember last week I posted here that Steve Jobs from Apple had announced that the issues with the iPhone 4 were not internal but rather the problems were caused by the way people tend to hold their phones was causing blockage of the antenna.   Uuummm....would that not be a design flaw Steve? Shouldn't your engineers research how most people hold their phones? Okay, hey I can't blame the guy for "spinning".

Anyhooo....they had said they would be offering up a FREE case that should take care of the problem.

For current iPhone 4 users who want a new Bumper or other case
 
If you purchased an iPhone 4 before September 30, 2010, you are eligible to receive an iPhone 4 Bumper or a select third-party case from Apple at no charge.

Go here and follow the steps below --->  (be sure and read terms and conditions)

Follow these steps to apply for a Bumper or case.

1. Download the iPhone 4 Case Program app from the App Store.
2. Launch the app on your iPhone 4 and sign in using your iTunes Store account or Apple ID.
3. Select your Bumper or case.

If you already bought the iPhone Bumper from Apple:

• If you used a Credit card We have already refunded your account. It may take up to one billing cycle for the refund to appear. (I would call to verify)
• If you purchased your Bumper at an Apple retail store, you have until September 30 to bring your receipt in for a full refund.
• If you bought one at an AT&T store, you'll have to fill out and mail in (by September 30) a rebate form to get your refund..
